Dear Dad – We miss You!

My dear dad, I fall short of words to express my pain and imagine my life without you around. You have been my friend, guide, support, inspiration, mentor for all these years, and suddenly to imagine my life without your presence puts me in deep agony. You have left us alone to strive in this bad world and have vanished away. Your words of wisdom no longer exist to guide us, your humor filled phrases are no longer heard to make us smile. Why did you go away dear dad? Where did you go away? If there was any way, we could call you back or reach out to you, then we would have brought you back. But alas! You are away into the bright abode of the divine never to look back at us and never to understand our pain. It took us innumerable days and innumerable tears of sorrow to come to terms with life without you. It was tough to make mom understand that you are no longer here, and we her children are her strength. Though we are around with her, but you are irreplaceable my dear dad. You have a special place in our hearts and life which never ceases to fade away. The sacrifices you made for us,  with a smile on your face makes you our hero. The dishes that you cooked for us when mom was not around satisfied our souls and tummies. Your strict words of advise always made sure that we never crossed boundaries and  always remained your ever obedient children. Your fresh cup of tea with a firm call in the morning just like an alarm clock made us jump out of our beds and pick up a book to study. We never ever needed an alarm clock when our dear walky-talky alarm was always around. It reassured a faith in us that come what may, you are around to see to it that we never take life easy. Your spiritual connect with the almighty was something which I always am in awe. You had a deep spiritual connect with your Guru, the mentor whom you believed in. Your sense of devotion and connect with the Supreme were so different, and it taught us the real meaning of faith and belief in the Ultimate Power. Your devotion towards the Almighty and your unconditional surrender to HIM made us understand the nuances of spiritual bliss. Your all round personality and knowledge on most subjects always made us listen to you with great interest. Your child like behavior at times, made us smile and laugh at you. Your daring and strong persona taught us to be tough and strong in life. You faced both life and death with so much grace that I feel that I was so lucky to have you as my Dad in this life. Even in your last moments, you never so calm and peaceful that you taught us the real meaning of life. There is always that sense of Pain and incompleteness without you Dad, but the values that you have given us stay deep within us, and we are indebted to you for making us the individuals that we are today.

Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and everything. Nevertheless just imagine if you added some great graphics or videos to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and videos, this site could certainly be one of the best in its niche. Terrific blog!
