Dreams: They Shatter.

Dreams:

         they shatter

Why won’t they be?

It’s just the whimsical desire of a boiling younghood;

as quoted by the elders true to be.

They say,

        Reality is tough, not dreamy

        But who told you our dreams are so easy.

Are they wrong? Maybe Yes, maybe No

who are we to judge?

They are our well-wishers,

everything suppose to register.

But……..

But shouldn’t we given a chance

taking a risk through which no one can get a glance.

Walking on a road unknown to us

with the support that we crave from our elders.

But Oh! we are not supposed to dream,

Because it’s not as smooth as cream.

What will people say if you do something different,

Even though their part in our lives are insignificant.

Struggling with our loved ones

We lost our energy.

We gave up on our sunken desires,

On this land of entropy.

Keeping the lifelong regret in a safe place,

for the dreams that we could have chased.

If and only if I could have taken a chance,

then may be my life would be something else tracing a different trance.

Dreams:

          they shatter

Why won’t they be?

It’s just the whimsical desire of a boiling younghood;

as quoted by the elders true to be.
