The moon, guitar and you

The moon is up, being the torch of night

Stars shine, the way you made me divine

Keeping it low, I strum my memory of yours

So that it doesn’t wake anyone up, including you

I paddle it slow, passing by every word

Which you said, down the tunnel to right

I strum it low, the sound of your smile

Making myself a bit of fool inside

The wind blows, same like that one night

And I know, I can’t feel that now

The world sleeps the moon shines

The stars twinkle; I watch them down from the aisle

Down the aisle, I keep looking up

And besides me are my sleepless nights

Countless sleepless nights.
